Isaac Watts Memorial Church Morning worship is held every week at 11am until midday. Parade services involving the Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade are held several times a year and we hold Holy Communion on the 3rd Sunday of the month.

We try to make worship applicable to all ages, using different styles and enjoying the variety this brings. Both traditional and modern hymns are used in our worship and occassionally we use Iona or Taize chants. We usually have an organist but also have a music group which play sometimes. Prayer is an important part of our worship.

We have a Junior Church at 11am, which we encourage younger children to attend after sharing in the opening church service.

Whilst retaining our own identity, we enjoy learning and working together to do God's will here in Southampton. In 2006 we became part of a larger group of churches (known as the South West Hants Group), in order to share our resources more effectively. This group includes Avenue St Andrew's, Chandler's Ford and Freemantle United Reformed Churches, and Valley Park Local Ecumenical Partnership church.
Our church is also a member of Churches Together in Shirley and District; an interdenominational group working to share the Good News in word and deed in the Shirley area. The Comminicare project is one success story from this work.

Throughout the year we support local charities such as the Society of St James, Southampton City and Region Action to Combat Hardship (SCRATCH), and the Countess Mountbatten Hospice; on a wider scale we support and give to Christian Aid and our Committment for Life partner, currently in Jamaica.
